COOKIE POLICY

  1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or mobile phone when you visit a website. The website uses cookies to save information about your activities and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a certain period, so that you do not have to enter them again when you return to or browse through the website.

When you visit https://podravka.com, we will request your consent to the use of cookies that are not necessary for the operation of the site.

We have divided cookies into:

a) Strictly Necessary Cookies (always enabled)

These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be turned off. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the website will not work then.

b) Functional cookies

These cookies enable the website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of such services may not function properly

c) Analytics

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources in order to measure and improve the performance of our web site. They help us find out which web pages are the most and least popular and how visitors move around the site. All data these cookies collect are aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you do not allow these cookies, we will not know when you have visited our web pages and will not be able to monitor their performance.

d) Product development and marketing

These cookies can be set by our advertising partners via our website. These companies can use them to create profiles of your interests and display relevant ads on other websites. They do not store personal data directly, but are based on the unique identification of your browser and device you use to access the Internet. If you do not allow these cookies, your user experience will contain less targeted advertising.

A list of our partners may be found in the attachment.

Prior to requesting your consent, we will inform you about the purposes of cookies in each category. You can also learn more about their names and duration in Chapter III of this Policy.

For more details on how we use cookies, see below.

  1. How do we use cookies?

https://podravka.com uses cookies and similar technologies for several purposes, depending on the context or product, including:

1) user input cookies — session and/or persistent cookies limited to a few hours — we use them to store your preferences and settings on your device and to improve your user experience; e.g. you do not have to set preferences each time you visit the website. If you opt out of interest-based ads, we store your opt-out choices in a cookie on your device;

2) authentication cookies, used for authentication services, for the duration of a session — we use them to verify visitor identity; this cookie allows you to navigate from page to page without having to log in again on each page. You can also save your log-in details so you do not have to log in every time you return to the website;

3) user centric security cookies, used to detect authentication abuses, for a limited duration — we use them to process information that allows us security and to identify fraud and abuse;

4) multimedia content player session cookies, such as flash player cookies, for the duration of the session;

5) cookies that enable uploading, for the duration of the session — we use them to store information you provide;

6) user interface customization cookies, for the duration of a session (or a little longer) — we use them to enable you to provide feedback on the website;

7) third-party cookies for sharing social network plugins for registered social network members — some of our websites contain social media cookies, including those that allow users logged in to a social network to share content via that network. This happens on websites that allow you to log in and register via your social network account and if you share the content of a website on social networks (e.g. via the “like” button). The impact on your privacy will vary depending on the social network and on the privacy settings you have chosen for them. You can learn more on how to manage these cookies at their websites.

In addition to the above cookies, we also use:

1. social network plugin cookies designed for tracking;

2. cookies designed for the development and improvement of products and services (third party advertising cookies) — to collect information about your online activity and to identify your interests so that we can show you ads best tailored to your interests. You can opt-out of interest-based ads, as described in our Privacy Policy. We also use cookies to record, for example, how many visitors have clicked on an ad and which ads you have seen so that they are not shown to you any more.

3. functional cookies (analytical (statistical) cookies) — we use first and third party cookies and other identifiers to collect usage and performance data; for example, we can use them to count unique visitors to a website or service, to develop other statistics about the functioning of our websites and products, or to learn about the performance of our products in order to improve them (for example, to collect data that helps to spread the load). This allows our websites to function.

Podravka cannot fully influence processing of personal data by third parties.

Podravka does not use cookies for any purpose other than as described in its Privacy Policy and this Policy.

In addition, it is important to note that some videos embedded in our websites use a cookie to collect statistics anonymously about how you landed on the website and the videos you visited.

Enabling these cookies is not strictly necessary for the website, but it will give you a better browsing experience.

You can delete or block these cookies, but if you do, some features of this website may not work.
