Danica keeps its export number
The inspectors of the European Commission of the Food and Veterinary Organisation have given high grades to the quality of the entire production process of the Danica poultry programme and allowed the further use of its export number.
The inspectors of the European Commission of the Food and Veterinary Organisation have given high grades to the quality of the entire production process of the Danica poultry programme and allowed the further use of its export number. In this way, Podravka’s meat-processing unit is the only plant in Croatia, besides Koka, that has obtained permission to export chicken meat products, including soups, to the European Union. Export number 139 is also the best reference for placing these products in the USA and Australia, because it confirms that Danica follows extremely strict regulations throughout the production process, from the acquisition of raw material to the final product. This news is even more important in view of the fact that, due to the incidence of various diseases, the number of countries allowed to export meat and poultry products is growing smaller.
Ever since its foundation, the meat-processing unit of Podravka has never lost its export number, which shows that the high standards of production and the constant quality control in which the experts of the Veterinarian Station of Koprivnica also take part, as well as the continuous efforts of all the employees in applying health – hygiene measures, have been consistent features of its work.
