From the 76th International Zagreb Fair: President Mesić visits Podravka's exhibition site

On the first day of the 76th International Zagreb Autumn Fair, on Monday 11th September, after the opening ceremony of the largest of all Croatian exhibitions, the President of the Republic of Croatia, Stjepan Mesić, made a tour of the pavilions and spent some time at Podravka’s exhibition site, where he also made a statement on his impressions.

“This Fair also shows”, said President Mesić, “ that the Croatian economy is compatible with European economies and that it is really taking off. I can see that there are many new products made in Croatia, and this is good, because it means that Croatian companies, apart from work, also sell grey matter. This is where I see the success of this year’s Fair. Only by promoting exports can we bring success to the Croatian economy”. After the official statement on his impressions, the Croatian president spent a short time at Podravka’s exhibition site in conversation with the President of Podravka’s Management Board, Darko Marinac, and his assistants.

The theme of Podravka’s exhibition at this year’s Zagreb Fair is Podravka soups, accompanied by the launch of the great prize-winning game “Win a flat with Podravka soups”. In addition to a varied programme, which includes the tasting of dishes prepared with Podravka products, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (15th, 16th and 17th September) a prize-winning game for visitors to Podravka’s exhibition site will take place, and valuable prizes will be awarded.
