The gastronomic promotion of Koprivnica and Podravka

The Catering Sector of Podravka is the host of the "Gastronaut Conference" which will take place from 23 to 24 February in Koprivnica.

The Catering Sector of Podravka is the host of the “Gastronaut Conference” which will take place from 23 to 24 February in Koprivnica. Gastronomic experts from all over Croatia, and members of the association of Croatian restaurants, will get to know in these two days the traditional dishes of Podravina. Dishes prepared with Podravka products will be presented, and the guests will also have the opportunity of seeing the famous sights of the Koprivnica region. Podravka’s catering establishments – Hotel Podravina, Pivnica Kraluš, and Podravska Klet, will offer dishes not usually on the menus – guinea hen in golden sauce, potato strudel, trganci with parsley, strukli with turnip and walnuts, cmok filled with spek and hard cheese – and which represent an exquisite combination of tradition with the culinary expertise of Podravka experts.

As part of this event, on Friday 23 February at 6 p.m. at the Hotel Podravina, a round table will be held on the topic “The Traditional Dishes of Podravina and Contemporary Dietary Trends” presented by Lidija Smoljo and Andreja Strelec, dietary consultants of the Podravka Culinary Service.
