Warm meatball tortillas

Tortillas with beef meatballs enriched with tomatoes, arugula and olives are guaranteed to be tasty and can be served with a smile

Warm meatball tortillas

Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 packet Fant seasoning mix for meat sticks
  • Vegeta Maestro ground black pepper
  • Vegeta Maestro sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Vegeta Maestro sweet paprika
  • 50 g arugula
  • 4 tortillas
  • 100 g shallots
  • 2 green peppers
  • 300 g tomatoes
  • 75 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • About 10 Podravka Green olives filled with red pepper paste

Preparation

  1. Mix Fant seasoning with 70 ml warm water and let stand for a few minutes.
  2. Add ground beef and arugula and mix well. Use hands to shape small meatballs (8 – 12 patties). Press one stuffed olive into the middle of each meatball.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons olive oil to a pan, heat and fry patties on both sides until golden. Once finished, remove from pan and keep in a warm place.
  4. Slice tomatoes, peppers and shallots.
  5. Heat tortillas a bit to soften them and top with a layer of arugula.
  6. On half the tortilla, add ¼ of the chopped vegetables, season with salt, pepper and paprika and a few drops of olive oil.

Serving: Add fried meatballs, fold tortilla over in half. You can use toothpicks or skewer sticks to hold the edges together, and serve.

Advice: Make sure the patties are the same thickness as the olive inside to ensure they fry evenly.
