DELICIOUS SPAGHETTI IN AJVAR SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 200 g Zlato polje Spaghetti with eggs
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 100 g mozzarella
  • 3-4 teaspoons of mild Podravka ajvar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 yellow zucchini
  • 1 small green zucchini
  • 40 g Podravka bacon
  • 100g cherry tomatoes

Preparation

  1. Put the spaghetti to boil in boiling salted water and cook them al dente.
  2. Cut the zucchini into larger cubes and cut the tomatoes in half. Cut the mozzarella into cubes.
  3. Fry the bacon slices in a dry pan until they turn yellow. Take it out on absorbent paper and tear it like chips.
  4. In a skillet over medium-high oil, fry the zucchini while stirring. Let them get yellow edges but stay al dente.
  5. Add the tomatoes and fry together briefly and add a little salt.Then add Ajvar) and heat everything together.
  6. Lightly stir the cooked and warm pasta into the sauce
  7. If necessary, add a few tablespoons of warm water in which the pasta was cooked. When the ingredients are combined, stir in the mozzarella and sprinkle with parsley.

Serving: Serve immediately warm sprinkled with bacon chips.

Advice: For a spicy taste, use ajvar hot or add a little chili powder to the recipe.
