Baked meatballs in đuveč

Baked meatballs will be most loved by your little guests, but even big meatball fans will not be able to resist their fantastic flavour.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Soak barley for several hours or overnight.
  2. Cook soaked barley for about 10 minutes.
  3. Mix packet of Fant for meatballs with 100 ml warm water, and let stand several minutes.
  4. Add barley prepared Fant to ground meat, mix well, and then shape into meatballs.
  5. Heat Đuveč, place in an ovenproof baking dish, and add in meatballs.
  6. Bake about 20 minutes in oven preheated to 200°C.
  7. When finished baking, sprinkle some grated cheese on the meatballs and bake a few more minutes until the cheese melts.

Serving: Serve warm.

Advice: This dish needs no side dish, but mashed sweet potatoes would be a great addition.
