Food safety and quality system policy

The food safety and quality system policy defines our intentions and the direction in which we aim to continue and to continuously improve our business processes, with an emphasis that the security and quality of our products is a fundamental strategic determinant.

Podravka enjoys the trust of countless consumers in the region and the world, who have recognised the value of its corporate culture, and which has resulted in the safe and high quality products and services.

The lasting intention of the company is to meet the needs and expectations of customers and interested parties, and to increase their satisfaction with Podravka products and services.

The ongoing advancements in the safety and quality of Podravka products is achieved through the application of the leading standards of food safety IFS Food (International Featured Standard-Food) and BRCGS Food Safety, whose certificates confirm the safety of the company’s food products. The high standards set in the food safety and quality system form the integrated management system that the company has built upon the principles of the standard ISO 9001 Quality management systems.

In all business processes, Podravka applies the corporate culture of management systems and the following fundamental determinants:

  • Ensuring and meeting product quality and safety for consumption by all consumers through the food supply chain: from the procurement of the highest quality ingredients, to production, to the distribution of finished products on the market
  • Meeting the legislative requirements on food safety in Croatia and on all markets where the company operates
